Just when you thought there were no more ways to spin a presidential assassination comes this gripping thriller by Ken Blaisdell.  [Weaver] has a Tom Clancy flavor but without the endless details...  If this book were made into a movie it would be next to the Bourne Identity movies at the video store.

“The plot is an intricately spun web of deception and intrigue.  Absolutely the best book I have read in a long time.”

“So real, I kept expecting to find Claire Bradley on YouTube! ... accurate and thoroughly plausible ... the book stands out from the more formulaic material some writers seem to put out in their sleep.”

“This page turner is superbly written and will leave you wishing for more.  ... political intrigue, terrorist plots, high-tech machinations, and betrayal from the most unlikely sources make this a great read.”

“The author does not play by the rules when it comes to what you think you're going to read. This is not the average thrill ride you've read before.  The style pulls you in and really gets you involved ...  I was happily surprised to find a new author I can look forward to reading more from.”

“Political suspense that seems all too real ...

While the unraveling of this whodunit is an intricate process that involves many characters, venues, and developments, the text never bogs down under their weight ... it took me just one snowy New England day to work my way from one cover to the other.”

“What a great leading character! Claire Bradley is completely believable and oh so likable. I was sad to see the book end, because I got to know her so well that it feels like a friend has moved away---and I can't even call her!  I want a sequel, because I want her to move back!”

“I become lost in “The Weaver Conspiracy.”  Lost, in that I surrendered myself to the story and its rollercoaster ride of dynamic plots and clandestine characters.  Mr. Blaisdell has weaved a tale full of deception, half-truths, snippets of the real truth while all the time giving us, the reader, every chance to figure his story out for ourselves.  I loved it!”

“[Blaisdell] blends the technological style of Tom Clancy with James Patterson-esque suspense to deliver a fresh voice that captured me from page one.”

—David Stevenson (Gilbert, AZ)

“I found the characters to be very believable, and very much alive. A good deal of that comes from Blaisdell’s remarkable gift for dialogue. I’ve read many writers who fail to even have their characters use contractions, leaving their portrayal of speech formal and wooden. Nobody talks like that!  Blaisdell get’s it right, and it brings his characters to life!”
